First National Conference on ageing “From an ageing society to a society for all ages – the special cases of Russia and the CIS”
October 9 -10, 2013, Moscow

Within the framework of the Сonference, representatives of the Federal and Regional authorities, practitioners, scientists, representatives of NGOs and socially responsible business dealing with the issues of ageing, as well as mass media will gather in Moscow for a two day debate.

Participants will discuss concrete examples and models of realization of a strategy for a society for all ages in various countries, exchange ideas and together look for the approaches to achieving an active longevity in Russia and other CIS countries.

The organizer of conference is the Elena and Gennady Timchenko Foundation established by Elena and Gennady Timchenko. Conference will be held with the support of the Commission for Social Policy, Labour Relations and Quality of Life of Citizens of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
