Pavel Andreevich Vorobiev was born in 1958, Dr. Of Medical Sciences, Professor. In 1980 he graduated finished from Sechenov Medical University. He works at the same University. In 1986 he defended his thesis, and in 1996 his doctoral thesis. Since 1998he has been the head of the department of hematology and geriatrics of the First Sechenov MMA. Since 1998 – Head of the Laboratory of standardization in health care (later – Department of Standardization in Health Research Institute of Public Health and Health Management) before it’s disbanding in 2011.

P.A. Vorobiev is the President of NGO “Society of Pharmacoeconomics Researches” – National Office ISPOR, co-chairman of the board of the Scientific Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Vice-President of the Scientific Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics Academy of Sciences, Member of the Executive Committee of the Pirogov movement of doctors in Russia, Chairman of the Moscow City Society of Physicians, Vice Chairman of Formulary Committee , Chairman of the Technical Committee № 466 “Medical Technology” GOSSTANDARD Russia. Author of more than 600 publications, including 79 books, monographs, etc. Hirsch Index 10, the total number of citations of the author – 444.
Editor in chief of the magazine “Clinical Gerontology” and the newspaper ”Herald of the Moscow City Society of Physicians”, the deputy editor of the magazine “Problems of standardization in health care”, a member of the editorial board of the journal “Problems of Hematology and Blood Transfusion”, “Management issues with quality of care”, “Health Care Far East”, “The successes of Gerontology”, a member of the editorial boards of magazines published in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Poland, USA, Belarus. Under the leadership of P.A. Vorobieva 17 theses were passed, 5 of which – PhD.
In 2008 was awarded with an award for the achievements in the medical sphere. The winner of the Eroshevsky Prize for the development of gerontology and pharmacology. In 2008 he was awarded the International Prize for the development of ISPOR pharmacy and economics in Russia, and in 2010 – a precious gift for the rally from Moscow to Sakhalin “For the health fair”. He also has a number of votes and certificates of honor Ministry of Health and FFOMS.
